Faith in Pink

Come and join us in celebrating “Faith in Pink” Awareness Month with a focus on saving lives and ending breast cancer forever.  The Northwest Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has designated May as a time to recognize women, especially mothers, for the important difference that they make in our lives.

Faith in Pink is a unique opportunity for churches, temples, mosques, and synagogues or any place of worship to spread the life-saving message of early detection, promoting breast cancer education, and celebrating and honoring the lives of those who have fought against breast cancer.

Upon registration, Susan G. Komen will mail out a “How To” Faith in Pink Toolkit which will provide suggestions on hosting a Faith in Pink event, breast health educational materials, a sample script, and suggested ideas and programs that can help make your event successful and memorable.

Previous Faith in Pink events included breast cancer prevention and early detection information in the sermon, video PSA announcements, short documentaries, youth skits, gospel concerts and survivor testimonials.

We invite you to join us in this powerful movement to motivate and empower your worship community.

Dates: Any day in the Month of May (or any date of your choice during the year)
