In Celebration of
Every year the Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure® pays special tribute to an individual who has survived breast cancer, and who serves as an inspiration to others. The “In Celebration of” tribute recognizes one breast cancer survivor for her/his determination and inspiration in our united battle against breast cancer.

Recognition for the 2009 recipient will be given on the Race entry brochure, at the Komen Night with the Mud Hens, and at the Awards Ceremony on Race Day.

The 2009 Race for the Cure will take place In Celebration of Kathryn Ann Thompson.

In Memory of
Every year the Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure® pays special tribute to an individual who after a courageous fight has lost her/ his life to breast cancer. The “ In Memory Of” tribute recognizes this individual for the inspiration she/he provides us in our united battle against breast cancer.

Recognition for the 2009 recipient will be given on the Race entry brochure, and to the recipient’s family at the Komen Night with the Mud Hens, and at the Awards Ceremony on Race Day.

The 2009 Race for the Cure will take place In Memory of Leslie Droll.
